Hey There,
Let me guess … you’re tired of politics, the carpool lane is sucking the life out of you, and your laundry (unfortunately) isn’t folding itself.
You want to escape for a few minutes, to curl up with a book that makes you laugh.
There’s already too much seriousness out there, don’t you think?
I'm Erin,
and I make murder fun,
I write lighthearted cozy mysteries because that’s what I like to read. I’m all about solving puzzles, but I think the ride to the slammer should be entertaining, too.
I’m from the South, and Southern culture winds its way through every word I write. Give me sweet tea and pimento cheese, and I’ll happily toss a “y’all” or two your way.
I’m a word nerd and an unabashed foodie.
I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember. I used to give my parents handmade books of dramatic, angst-filled poetry for Christmas. (Sorry about that, Mom. I owe you a scarf or something.)
Like many creatives before me, I tried to hide my true calling behind degrees in biology and business. But after more than 15 years working in healthcare marketing for a Fortune 500 company, I traded my MBA for stretch pants and a laptop – and I’ve never looked back.
I live in North Carolina with my husband, 3 kids, and an enormous lap dog named Murphy.
I’m a member of Sisters in Crime and Women’s Fiction Writers of America, and I enjoy interacting with writers and readers of many genres. Are you a book lover, too? Then you’re my kind of person. Book people rock.
