You are classy and collected, the envy of all of your friends.
You know how to work a crowd, and the who's who of every event eventually make their way over to your table.
You're well put together, but not afraid to kick back and show your softer side.
You appreciate tradition and good conversation, and you pay attention when cocktail hour is cut short because the best man disappears after slipping something sinister into the maid of honor's cosmo.
But you're not about to let a wedding go by without a quality, heartfelt toast. Cheers to you for saving the day, as always.
1. Make sweet tea syrup by adding boiling water to sugar. Stir until dissolved, then steep one black tea bag for 10 minutes. Let cool.
2. Add bourbon, lemon juice, and 2 Tbsp sweet tea syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until thoroughly chilled, then strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
3. Garnish with a slice of lemon or a cherry.
"Sweet tea isn't a drink, really.
It's culture in a glass."
